new this week

Sneak peaks of items coming to the shop this week.  I will be posting something from the new Summer collection each day and then will be added to the shop throughout the week.  Today's peek is a new pouch design that has been in the making for a couple of weeks and I just recently perfected the shape and size.  It's a  bit roomier than the Bourgeoois Clutch and this style has a foldover flap with leather loop tab and magnetic closure on the bottom.  A selvage edge pocket on the back and pockets inside for small goods makes it a great organizer.  Very manageable in size and it also fits inside a larger tote for travelling.  It will be added to the shoppe this week; and everything else is here also.

beach life

A perfect bag to carry everything you would need for this long Summer weekend as it is the 'official' kickoff to beach life.  The blue coastal waters tote was featured in a Treasury with a few other great items for all those long beach-y weekends, as you can see below.

in and out

This is a recently completed custom order that is on her way to the new owner.  As you can see, very inspired by the south of France and its markets, the countryside chateaus and seaside lounging.  It is a style I've worked with before actually years ago, but maybe it's time to bring it back?  I love the idea of tattered linens and well-worn cottons, which is what the seaside vibe is all about:  relaxed feeling and refined style.  Also, have a few new designs coming out in the next couple of weeks.  I'll post pictures here and put them in the shop for purchase when completed.

hey sailor

The very cool handmade site Faberuna gave me some lovely press lately and I am very excited to be featured here.  The Hey Sailor color block Summer tote has been a very popular item as of late.  You can go here and see everything that is currently in the collection.  New items are constantly being added to the shop while I also work on processing the custom orders that come in... Check back in soon because there are new things coming for the Summer Season !

treasury features

Was lucky enough to have been featured in a few lovely Treasuries lately.  The one above entitled "Red White and Berry" included the recent Coral Reef tote, shown here on the bottom row, second from the left.  Go here to the shop to see the current inventory.

In this Treasury entitled "Timeless" the curator featured the Botanical Sea Life Daytoter, which is shown on the second row and she's the first item !

Coral and Cabana

Recently completed and listed in the shop today are the coral reef architectural 'model' and the taupe and cream 'cabana stripe' satchel. Just in time for Summer, they are extra large, can take you from day into night and will carry everything plus the kitchen sink. A lot of fun to design and execute - I am slowly transitioning my style in design and construction to include more architecturally constructed pieces, more dying and more 3-d elements - thus the accent detail on the striped bag.

natural quiet

Excited about seeing the botanical leather clutch selected for a Treasury recently.  Very nicely themed collection of talent entitled "Natural Quiet".  I thought that title represented the sentiment and overall feeling of the myriad items quite well.  To see all of the bags in the Seaside Cloth & Grass collection, go here to the shop.
