mixing it up

Mixing up the leather and linen with a panel of vintage crochet circa 1950.  Added over a panel of dark chocoalte brown allows the piece to really pop and the detail becomes quite evident.  The minor tatters and signs of previously loved areas just add to the character and inimitability of the piece.  Fat bottom leather makes the delicate sturdy.  Visit the online shoppe here to see all that is available from the seaside.

shop update

From the Urban Nomad Collection, touches from the tones of the desert sky, textures from the desert floor and history that brings it all back to the seaside.  Influences from tribal dancers and the pouches carried that were meant for hunting and gathering, the new bags for Fall have bright, saturated coloring and are definitely heavy on the textural hand.  Raspberry suede with caramel tone leather and wool prints reminiscent of the native american contingent.  GO here to see everything in the shoppe.

so long summer...

...so long, Summer.  So long to your ridiculously hot heat, and your unbearable 117 degree days.  So long to your unwavering number of days over 110 degrees.  So long to the desolate deserts and burned greenery you leave in your wake.  So long to the 50 mile dust clouds and lack of rain.  You will not be missed.
Hello Fall...you are loved.
the beautiful pictures are from tumblr.
