I still get pretty excited when my items are selected to be in a featured Treasury in the online community of handmade artists.  So I was thrilled to find out that I was included in two yesterday, and here they are.  The first collection features my white stripe tote on the third row and the second collection features the linen coral sea tote on the second row of items .  Oh, and if you click here, you can see all of the items in my shoppe.

...back from sourcing this past week, and recently completed a shop update with this little beauty added... Oh, and the title of this post is what it felt like returning to the desert after being in the City near the water... alas, that is why there's the Seaside...  to see all of the shop's inventory, click here.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then these photos should tell a great story.  Fall and the holiday season is quickly approaching, and frankly, in some industries it's already too late to begin planning.  But, alas, a girl can only procure so many raw materials at one time.  That being said, it is sourcing time for the next season and that is where this designer will be spending a lot of time over the next few weeks.  Also will be finishing up a few custom orders, product inventory and oh yeah, accounting are also vying for attention....it all must fall in line by the end of the month !  I will be posting intermittently during this time, and will have new designs coming out at the beginning of Fall and most definitely some great holiday ideas will be unveiled with plenty of time for gifting !

I was instantly inspired by this picture, with its perfect patina'd objets d' art, the seafaring, industrial background and the overall feeling of seabound adventures in a ship...Very busy in the workshop - have been finishing up a number of custom orders, sourcing new textiles for the Fall season and the impending, upcoming holidays, oh, and fighting off the general malaise of Summer's dog days and unrelenting heat....*sigh*...
