Organic

I often refer to organic elements as a major point of inspiration when I am designing a new bag and begin to think about the textural interest and style.  I feel that it is probably one of the main components that makes my designs different from the masses.  It is with that thought that I came across this picture, and at first I was attracted to it because of it's coastal flavor, however, as I looked closer, I became more and more interested in the coloring, in the texture of the seaweed, and finally, the texture of the sand.  Then I realized how closely it resembled a bag I had recently completed.  Sometimes, life imitates art, other times art imitates life.  So simple and organic, often overlooked.  But when it all comes together, it can really be beautiful.
